This policy explains what Wormsi collects, how it is used, and what controls you have over your account, libraries, social activity, and public book journeys.

What Wormsi collects
Wormsi stores the account details you provide, profile information you choose to publish, books and copies you catalog, activity you share, messages you send, and operational logs needed to secure the service.
Why Wormsi uses this data
We use your data to run your library, support social features, show public book journeys when you choose to make them public, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and product quality.
Sharing and visibility
Wormsi is private by default. Public profile data, public copy journeys, and anything you explicitly share may be visible to other readers or to the public web. Private libraries, direct messages, and owner-only copy data are not intended for public access.
Photos, camera, and location
If you use barcode scanning or upload images, Wormsi processes camera input and uploaded photos to support cataloging and copy history. If you choose to attach a public place to a copy event, that location may appear in the public timeline for that copy.
Storage, processors, and retention
Wormsi uses Supabase-hosted infrastructure for authentication, database, and storage services. We retain account and library data while your account is active, plus longer when needed for fraud prevention, legal compliance, backup recovery, or pending deletion processing.
Account deletion
You can request account deletion from the in-app security settings. When you do, Wormsi makes your profile private and queues the account for deletion processing. Some records may be retained temporarily for safety, abuse prevention, tax or legal obligations, or to complete irreversible cleanup.
Your choices
You can update your profile, change what is public, remove shared data, and request deletion of your account from your settings. If you need help, use the support page linked below.
